Duties:
- Preparing cost estimates for road and bridge projects.
- Developing a consistent approach to claims management of all forms of contracts.
- Managing the provision of legal, contract management and claims management services.
- Providing specialist advice to managers on assessment, negotiation and resolution of claims.
- Reporting and recommend on the outcomes of claims and risk.
- Managing claim records and documentation.
- Evaluating and recommending continuous improvements to the claims management systems and processes.
- Experience in cost estimating and variation assessment for a broad range of infrastructure projects
- Skills and experience in commercial and claims management, including contract administration
- Negotiation and facilitation skills
- Skills and experience in managing financial, technological, physical and other resources within agreed allocations to meet agreed outcomes.
- Drivers Licence
Desirable:
- A Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management and Economics, or other relevant discipline
