Key areas of focus include platform ownership (including Salesforce), network and cloud security, cost optimisation, supplier management, and continuous improvement of processes and controls.

  • Design and implement automation initiatives that improve reliability, reduce risk, and increase productivity.
  • Promote continuous improvement across IT operations.
Security Strategy & Risk Management
  • Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, policies, and controls.
  • Protect internal networks, cloud platforms, hosted infrastructure, and sensitive data.
  • Lead incident response, recovery efforts, and post‑incident remediation.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and industry frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, privacy regulations).
Supplier & Cost Management
  • Manage third‑party vendors, service providers, and software partners.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage SLAs, and conduct vendor performance reviews.
  • Drive cost optimisation across licensing, infrastructure, and services while maintaining quality and security.
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing team of platform and security professionals.
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and clients to align technology with business needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on platform, architecture, and security‑related matters.
  • Contribute to enterprise‑wide planning, risk mitigation, and decision‑making.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in Salesforce platform architecture, customisation, and integration.
  • Strong background in cybersecurity, including incident response, vulnerability management, and threat detection.
  • Proven leadership experience managing technical teams in complex environments.
  • Deep understanding of system architecture, data infrastructures, and enterprise technology landscapes.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present effectively to executive audiences.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and relevant privacy regulations.
