Job Title: Project Engineer
Employer: DFP Recruitment client
Position Type: 12-month casual temporary contract
Pay Rate: Competitive
Location: Bentley, WA 6102
Role Overview: The Project engineer will be the coordinator focal point for the following feasibility study activities and deliverables; Transmission line design, Feasibility study technical deliverables, Execution phase planning of transmission line works
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Supervise and coordinate the transmission line preliminary engineering
  • Supervise and coordinate the detailed design undertaken by EPC contractors
  • Support assessment and evaluation of ECI proposals
  • Support the development of feasibility study technical deliverables including, Capital estimates, Works schedules, Risk Assessments, O&M estimates
  • Review and EPC contractor’s ECI deliverables
  • Occasional travel to regional WA
 
Essential to be successful in this role;
  • Engineering degree
  • Must have 10 years experience in High voltage transmission line design and infrastructure
  • Experience in the preparation of detailed or bankable feasibility studies for large infrastructure projects
  • Approximately 10 years experience in the development large capital projects
  • Valid WA Drivers Licence
  • Pilbara based construction experience
