Project Heritage & Engagement Specialist- Regional and Remote Energy Provider

Our Client:

Our client, a prominent regional and remote energy provider in Western Australia, serves over 35,000 residential and 9,000 business customers, ensuring reliable electricity supply across diverse communities.

Job Specifics:
Position Type: 12 Month Temporary Hire Position with possible extension
Location: Bentley, Western Australia
Work Hours: 7.5 Hours per day
Remuneration: Daily rate based on market rates

Project Focus: Single point accountability for all Project Heritage & Native Title matters, who will lead and be the primary project representative in all heritage related Meetings. Develop and Implement project Heritage plans, presentations, documentation, and processes as required to deliver on the project objectives.

Qualifications:

It is highly desirable that the incumbent possess a tertiary qualification in Archaeology and / or Anthropology or Cultural Studies.

Knowledge Required:

• Comprehensive understanding of Aboriginal heritage industry processes.
• Familiarity with the Aboriginal Heritage Act and Regulations and the Native Title Act.

Desired Knowledge:

• Advanced level skill - GIS

Skills and Experience Required:

• At least 5 years practical experience in a role managing native title and heritage matters.
• Experience relationship building with Traditional owner groups & PBC’s.
• Heritage survey agreement negotiation exposure.
• Substantial experience coordinating heritage surveys in regional WA.
