DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Government Client team.
Role responsibilities
- Development of comprehensive project plans that include scope, timelines, resources, risk management, and budget.
- Allocation and management of project resources, including human resources, budgetary funds, and technology.
- Regular updates and communications with stakeholders, including status reports, meeting agendas, and minutes.
- Identification, analysis, and mitigation plans for potential risks throughout the project life-cycle.
- Implementing quality standards and best practices to ensure all deliverable align with project requirements and meet stakeholder expectations.
- Defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project outcomes and assess team performance.
- Overseeing changes to project scope, time-line, or resources, including managing approval processes and evaluating potential impacts.
- Keeping up with trends like AI, cloud computing, and IoT relevant to projects.
- Expertise in methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.).
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, and cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project).
- Understanding phases from conception to deployment.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information using a diverse range of media, including demonstrating software solutions, to both technical and non-technical audiences.
