The Quality and Innovation Unit provides leadership in the development, implementation and evaluation of plans, programs, models and policies for improving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health and Wellbeing. 

As a Regional Child & Family Psychologist, you will provide culturally appropriate clinical care and supportive health services to children, parents and families ensuring effective assessment, service delivery and referral practices are delivered. 

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Contribute to the triage and monitoring of Paediatric Psychology
  • Deliver high level assessment services
  • Provide professional leadership and assist in the coordination of psychology and multi-disciplinary child development and family centred service delivery
  • Contribute to education and training in the field of child / family assessment
  • Develop and maintain client files around assessment, treatment planning
  • Maximise Medicare billings
Mandatory qualifications and experience:
  • Qualified Psychologist with AHPRA registration
  • Willing to undertake a Criminal History Check
  • Current C Class Drivers License
  • Demonstrated high level of verbal and written communication
  • Will consider minimal experience with relevant placements
