SAP Integration System Lead
  • $1000 - $1200/daily rate plus super  
  • Canberra, City location
  • 12 months plus 2 x 12-month extensions
About the role
The Sap Integrations Systems lead will be managing large-scale, high volume hybrid SAP landscape by demonstrating a strong understanding of basis area of SAP Integration layers like SAP Integration frameworks. As an SAP BASIS Engineer in the SAP Operations team, you will be supporting some of the largest SAP environments in the world that are responsible for supporting mission critical applications that are responsible for processing 5.2 million claims a year and responsible for paying more than $150 billion a year to Australian Citizens.

Duties

  • Have a strong understanding of development and SAP Integration patterns such as (CRM Middleware, IDOC, ODATA), SAP Integration systems (SAP PI/PO, CPI).
  • Using your system architect experience, you will identity performance issues in SAP Integration frameworks which could be server related or inefficient codes or development patterns used across SAP landscape.
  • Supporting the critical services for various agencies.
  • May be required to join an on-call roster supporting services after hours. May be required to complete work outside core hours (i.e., after hours and weekends).
Desired Skills  
  • Memory & Thread management of SAP Integrations systems (ABAP, JAVA) alongside a good understanding of SAP JAVA based systems in terms of Service Pack upgrades, system configurations along with SOLMAN based integration.
  • Strong understanding of JCA frameworks, various adapter and runtime impacts of JCA architecture and integration layers in ABAP stack, including BDOC, IDOC, SOA Manager, RFC's and gateway connections behaviour on ABAP and JAVA stack.
  • Good understanding of SAP CPI platform & hybrid integration model on SAP and good understanding of SAP BTP including API management layer.
  • Define Integration Strategy and design principles for the Integration landscape with extensive knowledge in ABAP developments around various processes/functionalities with knowledge in SD/SCM/Procurement/Services and Warranty.
  • Excellent programming skill and well versed with S4 coding standard/methods.
  • Must have extensive experience of working in various SAP specific integration technologies (ABAP Proxy, BAP/RFC/IDOC/ Web Services/ IDOC enhancements) and experience in Enhancement Framework, Object Oriented programming within SAP.
  • Monitor the SAP landscape, troubleshoot and resolve incidents whilst supporting the automation of tasks to improve efficiency and mentor junior staff members. 
Mandatory    
  • 15+ years’ experience in managing large scale integration landscape.
  • Strong experience in cloud and on prem SAP integration layer systems.
  • Strong experience in SAP BTP.
  • SAP PI/PO basis Certified consultant.
  • SAP PI/PO development certified consultant.
  • Strong memory management skill on SAP net weaver.
  • Strong UI debugging knowledge in SAP ABAP and JAVA.
  • Strong SAP Net weaver basis background in handling performance issues.
  • Strong understanding of SAP HANA from integration point of view.
  • Experience in the following monitoring tool Dynatrace, Elastic (Kabana).
  • Experience in monitoring of SAP PI/CPI systems.
  • Experience in the SAP code release cycle using Charm.
  • Experience in the deployment of SAP Support Packs.
