Job description

We are currently seeking experienced Senior Level Administration candidates to fill immediate temporary vacancies with our South Australian government clients.   

The roles: 

ASO5 Senior Ministerial Officer and ASO4 and 5 Senior Business Support Officers are located in Pirie Street in the CBD.  Our client is looking for an immediate commencement. 3 month initial tenure with a view to extensions. 

These key roles offer high level business support to the Office of the Chief Executive. Previous experience in aligned roles within the government sector would be looked upon favourably. 

Skills and Experience required: 
  • High attention to detail 
  • Very strong written and verbal communication 
  • The ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines 
  • Experience and/or ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • High level of confidentiality 
  • Experience in and/or ability to deal with senior executives across the department and across government 
 
ASO3 Executive Assistant is based in Flinders Street in the CBD.  Out client is looking for an immediate commencement.  An initial 2 month tenure is available.  Must have a current working with children check. 
This role provides a high-level liaison, secretarial and administrative support service to the Director. 

Skills and Experience required: 
  • Diary maintenance for the Director including negotiating with staff in regards to scheduling meetings 
  • Travel bookings 
  • Preparation of agenda papers and recording of minutes 
  • Providing administrative support including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting routine correspondence
