Job description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Superintendent’s Representative who will have the delegated authority to manage the daily administration of a significant construction project. The Superintendent’s Representative will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring smooth communication and coordination between all stakeholders involved. They will be responsible for facilitating meetings, monitoring construction progress, and managing all contract-related communications.

Key Duties:
  • Read the conditions of the contract and understand the scope of works, including special conditions and annexures.
  • Attend the site for two days per week.
  • Facilitate the kick-off meeting with the contractor.
  • Coordinate letters and deliverables, ensuring compliance with timeframes.
  • Manage communications as the single point of contact.
  • Monitor construction progress through site attendance and report on any delays.
  • Review progress claims, variations, and extensions of time, and provide recommendations.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • In-depth understanding and extensive experience in administering complex construction contracts in accordance with AS4000-type terms and conditions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels and with various stakeholder types.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex engineering concepts.
  • Strong document management capabilities and high-level organisational skills.
This role is a 12-month contract with possibility for an extension. Part time hours - 16-30 hours during peak times.
