About the Role
DFP are seeking reliable and experienced Warehouse Assistants to commence employment with one of our State Government organisations located in near the Adelaide Airport. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately receipting, storing, and dispatching materials. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, take pride in attention to detail, and enjoy working independently, we would love to hear from you.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and take direction from the warehouse supervisor
  • Manual handling, receiving, and inspecting stock and materials
  • Setting up count and packing areas
  • Undertaking all relevant documentation associated with the receipt and despatch of goods.
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Packing correct items and accurate number of stocks according to inventory
 
Requirements
  • Must hold a National Police Check within the last three months
  • Experienced with stores and warehousing environments
  • Ability to understand and work to deadlines
  • Ability to follow procedures exactly
  • High attention to details and accuracy
  • Good teamwork and customer service skills
  • Safety conscious
 
What We Offer
  • Attractive hourly rate $33.21ph plus 12% super
  • Casual ongoing position until April 2026
  • Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
  • Onsite parking
