Job description

Our State Government client is looking for an experienced AO5 Program Administration Officer to provide high-level administrative and executive support within the Critical Programs – Queensland Corrective Services Portfolio.

This role supports the end-to-end delivery of capital and maintenance projects within operational environments, working closely with executives, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams managing multi-million-dollar cost centres.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level executive and program support
  • Coordinate workforce mobilisation, onboarding, and travel logistics
  • Manage procurement, invoice reconciliation, budget monitoring, and cost control
  • Prepare compliance and governance reporting
  • Utilise Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SharePoint) and Aconex
  • Support document control, audit preparation, contractor compliance, IT and asset management
  • Contribute to process improvement and development of work instructions
  • Assist with corporate event coordination as required

Mandatory Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification in Business Management or Office Administration

Highly Desirable:
  • Experience within the construction industry in a similar role
