About the Role:

Our State Government client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Support Officer to join the Maintenance Response Centre for the NQ Region. This role combines call handling and administration duties, ensuring efficient, high-quality customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, meeting KPIs and maintaining accuracy when compiling reports, updating records, and performing general administration functions. Strong interpersonal skills, including negotiation and dispute resolution, are essential.

Mandatory Requirements:
  • Moderate experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
Highly Desirable Skills:
  • Previous experience in customer support or call centre environments
  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-guided and able to learn on the job
  • General office skills and administrative capability
  • Maintenance knowledge is advantageous
