- $800 – 925.00 per day + Super
The role
The HR Business Partner, partners with the business to drive people initiatives to deliver required business objectives. The role works constructively with business leadership teams to develop a highly engaged and productive workforce through successful workforce planning, leadership and capability development and sound and appropriate workforce behaviour and management standards.
Additionally, the role operates with a high level of autonomy within the requirements of the agreed work plan and establishes their strategic operational priorities in consultation with the Senior Manager.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Advise on people matters to build organisational and leadership capability.
- Collaborate with P&C colleagues to implement strategies that develop talent and manage change for business objectives.
- Drive initiatives in succession planning, workforce development, employee retention, and organisation design to align with current and future needs.
- Support leaders through transformational change by applying change management processes and mitigation strategies to maintain business continuity.
- Address key people capability issues with targeted programs and risk mitigation to achieve business goals.
- Monitor people-related risks and implement strategies to minimise or eliminate them.
- Build relationships with stakeholders to stay informed and effectively influence business decisions.
- Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to support strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Bachelor degree in HR or relevant discipline or equivalent experience;
- Demonstrated working knowledge of and experience working with HR policies, practices and systems in public sector environments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships and effective communication with key stakeholders.
- Manage diverse stakeholder needs and expectations.
- Stay current with relevant information to ensure high-quality service delivery.
