Job description

We’re looking for a reliable, organised Training Support Officer to join a small, collaborative team providing administrative support for training activities within a large government‑funded program. This role suits someone who enjoys helping others, managing requests, and keeping systems and paperwork organised. It’s a hands‑on support role where accuracy, communication and follow‑through really matter.

The role
As a Training Support Officer, you’ll provide day‑to‑day administrative support for training activities and respond to training enquiries from staff and stakeholders. You’ll manage requests through shared inboxes, phone calls and in‑person queries, help coordinate training-related paperwork, and support teams with general administration tasks. This includes maintaining records, supporting compliance documentation, and assisting with basic procurement and finance processes.
You’ll also support operational teams when required and help ensure work is completed accurately, on time, and in line with established procedures.

What you bring
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to use judgement to resolve issues within your level of responsibility
  • Experience working in an administrative or support role, or transferable skills
  • Confidence dealing with internal and external stakeholders
  • A team‑focused approach, with good attention to detail and time management
Essential requirements
1. Current Australian Federal Police check (National Police Check) or willingness to obtain.
2. Proof of Australian Citizenship.
