Job description

Our client is currently seeking an APS5 and APS6 Project Officer to join the team within a Federal Government Agency based in the Adelaide CBD.

The Service Design Planning Branch is responsible for delivering on programs or projects as prioritised by the Agency. This will be achieved through monitoring and tracking the application of agreed ways of working that guide the Service Design Division.
 
The Hypercare Team support the national rollout of the PACE CRM. In addition, the team provide hypercare support for each major and BAU production release of PACE.
 
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 
  • Assisting in project management and coordination activities, monitoring and reviewing program and project activities against plans.
  • Contributing to the development and management of project plans and schedules in accordance with the Agency’s project management framework.
  • Providing advice, procedural guidance and technical expertise in specific areas of project work.
  • Performing research work and analysis including contributing to the preparation of reports on relevant project activities.
  • Contributing to regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports.
  • Drafting a range of written material including business cases, plans, executive briefs and corporate documentation for review.
  • Assisting with monitoring project budgets, review and report on expenditure and assist with procurement and contract management.
  • Assisting with the identification and management of project risks, issues and benefits.
  • Assisting with project quality management to ensure that project deliverables are fit for purpose and meet client needs.
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve program, project and business outcomes 
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: 
  • Experience in a similar position
  • Stakeholder management: Ability to influence stakeholders, negotiate outcomes, drive decision making, and manage conflicting or challenging situations.
  • Strategic organisation: To prioritise, plan, allocate and action work.
  • Administration: Tracking and delivering reports.
  • Detailed understanding of SAP and Salesforce CRM platforms
  • Detailed knowledge of NDIA operating systems, practice and processes is desirable.
  • Platforms: Experience in the use of Jira and Confluence 
This role is at the APS5/6 level equivalent offering $55.24-$60.26 per hour + super. The rate of pay is casually loaded, as you will not be accruing annual or sick leave.
