About the role
The Instructional Designer is responsible for supporting the department with the design, development and delivery of specialist training courses and programs and their key duties include:
- Conduct a Training Needs Analysis and be able to professionally report on findings
- Develop a blended learning matrix
- Map training paths
- Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to build learning content
- Develop PowerPoints and Facilitator Guides as required
- Develop and edit eLearning content
- Excellent and demonstrated project management skills and experience.
- An ability to learn new systems and tasks quickly and deliver results.
- Good stakeholder engagement skills and a focus on customer service.
- A high level of personal drive and integrity, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A demonstrated ability to set and meet work priorities to ensure team and organisational objectives are met.
- Experience in conducting training needs analysis and developing training products will be a distinct advantage.
- High level of skill in designing, developing and implementing eLearning solutions.
- Experience in instructional design which includes development of digital, on the job, and face to face interventions.
