Our client located in Broome is currently looking for HR Drivers with a current forklift licence to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe transportation of freight to and from a customer specified site, ensuring the supplier and customer commitments are met on schedule and in good condition.

Duties
- Loading and unloading of general, over-dimensional and refrigerated freight
- Securing and restraining loads in a safe manner as per operational requirements
- Carrying out vehicle pre-start checks
- Transporting freight in a safe and efficient manner to and from customer sites and depots
- Ensuring all freight loaded matches the paperwork
- Start times vary however may start as early as 4am
- Good written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to liaise with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Current HR Driver’s license
- Accredited forklift ticket
- Demonstrated experience using a non-synchromesh gearbox
- Ability to acquire and pass a commercial vehicle pre-employment medical (Fit to drive).
- Current online fatigue management certificate.
- Ability to pass random drug and alcohol screens.
- Flexibility in hours of work.
- Refrigeration and general freight experience is desirable.
