DFP Recruitment is urgently seeking an experienced ICT Delivery Manager to join a team on a large modernisation program of work.

Our Client, a large federal government body, aims to modernise business capabilities by addressing legacy ICT systems, enhancing efficiency, and reducing technical duplication and complexity. Through the identification and replacement of outdated components, the program seeks to streamline the technical infrastructure and improve overall system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strong experience in managing ICT projects to deliver to time, cost, quality, and scope.
  • Ability to foster team culture and lead small teams, including providing clear direction, effectively oversighting tasks and coaching to build high performance.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strategic relationships and manage expectations across varied stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to conduct critical analysis and use available information and professional judgement to solve complex problems and implement pragmatic solutions.
  • Ability to effectively manage high volumes of work and competing priorities, including the ability to adapt and respond to change and manage changing team and stakeholder needs.
Key Skills:
  • Tertiary qualifications or industry recognised certification in Management, Project Management, or a similar field.
  • Strong experience in managing/delivering large-scale ICT transformation programs/projects in an Australian Government setting.
  • Strong experience in Agile ways of working, such as the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and/or SCRUM.
  • Proficiency in using a range of commercial off the shelf and bespoke ICT systems and applications including, but not limited to, the Microsoft Suite, Azure DevOps, Miro and Service Now.
 
To be considered for this role you must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to obtain NV1 clearance if you do not already hold it.
