Our Federal Government client manages the strategic, policy leadership on whole-of-government, shared ICT investments and provides digital service delivery.
 
About the role
The Program Support Officer will be engaged in a 12-month assignment commencing from first week of July 2022.  The Program Support Officer will bring demonstrated experience assisting multiple teams in their project management, time lines, and culture.
 
Key responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:
  • Provide project road-maps and defining tasks at the direction of the Teams’ Lead.
  • Facilitating stand-ups, resolving blocked items for the teams.
  • Assist the team to update and organise Jira boards.
  • Facilitating improvements to team practice.
  • Review and maintain program reporting arrangements including providing input into reporting against the road-maps.
Skills and Experience
Applicants must provide police check once the assignment is confirmed.
  • Experience working with Jira or similar task management software.
  • Ability to facilitate daily and weekly task-based meetings and helping the team to resolve blocked tasks.
  • Facilitating change readiness, has a high attention to detail and a focus on delivery in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in assisting a team/s to develop and follow project road-maps.
  • Has excellent communication, interpersonal skills and has an aptitude for collaboration and negotiation with a broad range of stakeholders.
 
Benefits: Agency would consider flexible working arrangements; however, it would likely only be one day a week at home.
