Job description

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an APS4 Project Officer. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the development, implementation, and management of projects that contribute to the success of the organisation. As an integral member of our team, you will provide operational and administrative support, conduct research and analysis, and facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and management of project plans and schedules in accordance with the agency’s project management framework.
  • Provide advice, procedural guidance, and administrative support to staff and stakeholders.
  • Assist with research and analysis on relevant project activities.
  • Support regular project reporting, including status updates and exception reports.
  • Draft project documentation for review by senior staff.
  • Monitor project budgets, report on expenditure, and reconcile payments.
  • Build rapport and maintain stakeholder relationships to support project delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, administration, or a related area.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
