This Government body works with people with disability, providers, and the community to deliver nationally consistent, responsive, and effective regulation of service providers. The Role:
The APS6 Fraud Intelligence Analyst is accountable under limited direction to undertake complex work that is guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents. The APS6 Fraud Intelligence Analyst is required to provide detailed technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems. Where required, the role will coordinate and assist in the strategic planning, program and project management and policy development..
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Contributing to the development, planning and production of financial intelligence outputs and outcomes.
- Utilising a Certificate IV in Government (Investigation), or its equivalent, as set out in Public Services Training Package (PSP04) to support the planning and production of financial intelligence outputs and outcomes.
- Conducting fraud assessments and producing financial intelligence reports for complex matters from the collection, evaluation and analysis of information.
- Leading tactical intelligence projects through the development of collection plans, assigning tasks, analysing financial and other information, and articulating findings.
- Contributing to the development of business rules, refinements and suggested avenues of analysis and investigation.
- Producing financial intelligence products within set timeframes in compliance with legislative, policy and information security frameworks.
- Providing ongoing intelligence support for matters referred for investigation.
You will bring your extensive experience in financial fraud intelligence to this role, utilising your skills and experience in developing financial intelligence reports and intelligence projects.
Key skills required for role:
- Certificate IV in Government Investigations or equivalent
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to analyse various forms of information to form a conclusion.
- Attention to detail in written and verbal communication.
- Fraud Intelligence and or regulatory experience.
- Relevant Qualifications.
- Knowledge of the NDIS and participant risk.
- Ability to obtain and maintain "Negative Vetting Level 1" security clearance
