Exciting Opportunity: APS6 Strategic Communications Officers Needed
DFP Recruitment is seeking multiple APS6 Strategic Communications Officers to join our Federal Government client, in a dynamic team leadership role.
 About the Role
As an APS6 Strategic Communications Officer, you will:
- Lead and manage team activities with delegated authority and responsibility.
- Provide technical, professional, policy, and operational support for complex problems.
- Coordinate strategic planning, program and project management, and policy development to support our client’s goal of building a world-leading disability service.
- Engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, addressing complex, sensitive issues.
 Responsibilities
- Organisation and Attention to Detail: Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Clear Communication: Champion plain English, ensuring all materials are accessible and adhere to our clients style and branding guidelines.
- Leadership: Serve as a trusted communications expert, assisting key stakeholders and business partners.
- Content Creation: Draft clear, concise messaging for various audiences, including talking points and speeches.
- Plan Development: Contribute to the development and delivery of communications plans, manage approvals, and coordinate go-live collateral.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Identify and develop key internal stakeholder relationships, addressing and resolving emerging challenges.
- Impact Evaluation: Evaluate the impact of communications, identify learnings, and assess project objectives.
- Support: Assist team members with administrative, technical, and procedural tasks.

 Position Details
- Location: Perth CBD
- Type: Casual position working full-time hours (no leave entitlements but casual loading included).
- Pay Rate: $60.26 per hour plus super
- Contract Length: 12 months with possible extension
