Job description

We are seeking an energetic and highly organised Executive Assistant to work within a large government agency based in Richmond. This role will be working full time hours over a 12 month contract.
As an Executive Assistant, you will assist the manager in fulfilling their responsibilities by providing professional secretarial and administration services. You will have an ability to quickly gain knowledge of the work undertaken by the Agency in order to provide high level administrative support and anticipate the needs of your manager and other key staff within the office.
Duties include; 
  • Completing operational and/or administrative tasks of moderate complexity or difficulty
  • Diary and email management
  • Preparing replies to correspondence, briefing material and handling confidential papers
  • Schedule meetings and prepare documentation for meetings and projects
  • Undertake research and investigation as required 
  • Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements and other official functions
To be considered for this role you will demonstrate; 
  • Previous experience in administration, personal/executive assistance
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to act and work on initiative 
  • Strong organisation and planning abilities
